Welcome to the Cooperative Networks and Controls (CoNeCt) Lab!

The CoNeCt lab’s mission is to push our understanding of complex and networked systems from the viewpoint of dynamic systems and control theory.  We are particularly interested in the study of networked dynamic systems, which are systems characterized by their complex interconnections, diversity of components, and interactions with the physical world.  The study of these systems requires a multidisciplinary approach that draws upon three core disciplines: systems & control theory, optimization theory, and graph theory.  We aim to contribute to a general theory for the analysis and synthesis of networked dynamic systems with applications ranging from formation control, the “smart-grid,” and general multi-agent systems.
